Snowfall

Lazy snowflakes drift to earth

transforming dreary landscape

with spotless blanket 

of pristine fluff.

I look out on Christmas-card world,

count my blessings--

of eyes that see,

spirit that perceives

wonders of creation all around me. 

Divine Lord,

what a miracle is 

your conception!
